Principal's Message
Greetings, Rose Drive Roadrunners!
My name is Trisha Gray, and I am honored to serve as the principal of our incredible school. This is my seventh year in administration, and I am thrilled to be part of the Rose Drive community. Before joining Rose Drive, I served as the Assistant Principal at Tynes Elementary and spent 20 years in the East Whittier City School District, where I gained valuable experience as a teacher, trainer, and Intervention Specialist.
I am passionate about creating the best educational experience for ALL students by supporting our teachers, students, and families. In my free time, I love spending quality time with my husband, Neil, and our two wonderful young adult daughters, Josephine and Amelia. We are an active family that enjoys water sports at Lake Mohave or the beach.
As your principal, I am committed to fostering a collaborative environment where every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in open communication and encourage you to reach out with any questions or ideas. I look forward to building strong relationships with every family and working together to create a positive and enriching school experience.
At Rose Drive Elementary, we are dedicated to developing well-rounded students who are equipped with 21st-century skills. Our school provides a warm, nurturing environment where students are inspired to achieve high academic standards while growing into their best selves.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and families, Rose Drive has been recognized on the 2024 California Honor Roll by the Educational Results Partnership. Additionally, in 2023, we earned Platinum Certification for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), a testament to our commitment to fostering a positive and supportive school culture.
Your partnership is invaluable to us. We encourage you to take an active role in your child’s education by attending school events, volunteering, and staying connected. Talking with your child daily about their experiences in the classroom and on the playground can make a meaningful difference in their success.
Thank you for your continued support of our school and staff. Together, we will achieve another year of academic and personal growth for all our Rose Drive scholars.
Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
Respectfully Yours,Trisha Gray
